1888 A single bay fire station was built adjacent to the works main entrance in Wood Street.
1903 A new 3 bay fire station on land between Wood Street and Park Road, behind the current NatWest Bank.
1925 - 1941 The works fire brigade provided Fire Cover to the local council area.
1941 - 1948 The works brigade became part of the National Fire Service.
1948 - 1959 Operated as part of Cheshire County Fire Brigade, under Section 12 of the Fire Brigades Act.
1st April 1959 Operated as a Works Fire Brigade when Cheshire County Fire Brigade opened their new fire station in Dock Road South, Bromborugh.
